Advanced Learning Loans

Aged 19 or over? Now you can get a loan to cover the costs of training. 

Courses are available for those individuals who aren’t eligible to access other funding options.

Certificate in Hairdressing Level 3 – Advanced Learning Loan

No prior knowledge is required. The planned duration is 12-14 weeks. This qualification confirms that the learner has developed basic skills and knowledge in consultation, cutting women’s hair, style and dress, colouring, promote and sell products and creative design skills.

Conclusion and achievement of the qualification is through observation of assessment and completion of written assignments.

Training will be delivered at our Academy in Manchester’s Northern Quarter 2 days a week on a Thursday and Friday. 

Certificate in Barbering Level 3 Advanced Learning Loan

No prior knowledge is required. The planned duration is 12-14 weeks. This qualification confirms that the learner has developed basic skills and knowledge in health and safety, consultation, cut men’s hair, cut facial hair and shaving services.

Conclusion and achievement of the qualification is through observation of assessment and completion of written assignments.

Training will be delivered at our Academy in Manchester’s Northern Quarter 1 day a week on a Wednesday. 

Diploma in Hairdressing Level 3 – Advanced Learning Loan

All learners need to have completed Level 2 Hairdressing and need to be working in the industry either on a employed or self-employed basis. The planned duration is 6 months. This qualification confirms that the learner has developed the skills and knowledge in consultation, cutting women’s hair, style and dress, colouring, perming, colour correction and creative design skills.

Conclusion and achievement of the qualification is through observation of assessment and completion of knowledge exams.

Training will be delivered at our Academy in Manchester’s Northern Quarter one day a week on a Monday. Alternatively we can deliver in salon on a 1:1 basis once a fortnight.
